$1,000 Academic Savings Accounts

Families, you could be eligible to receive $1,000 to help your student attend summer camp, before or after school tutoring, field trips and other academic-related activities through the Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) educational savings account program.

You and your student may qualify for funds in one of three ways:

  • Reside in a district with a high rate of chronic absenteeism (Cincinnati Public, Lockland, Mt. Healthy, North College Hill, Northwest, Norwood, Princeton, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place, Winton Woods)
  • Your household income is at or below 400% of the federal poverty level
  • Your student/family participates in programs such as Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Ohio Works First (OWF) or other similar programs
